EMBARGOED UNTIL JANUARY 14, 2013 at 7:05 a.m. PST

January 14, 2013 – RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA – Jack Jones, America’s Social Media Consultant™, has achieved two milestones in just one month of operation: his Twitter account has reached 20,000 followers, and he has secured a Series A Investment.

Jack Jones said, “As America’s Social Media Consultant, I am confident that my achievement – 20,000 Twitter followers in less than one month –is a testament to my abilities as not only a Social Media Consultant, but as someone who knows how to pay an offshore database administrator a few dollars to get me a bunch of followers.”

Jones can be found on Twitter at – or “@jackjonessocial”.

The Series A Investment, considered de rigeur in tech circles to announce, is less about any achievement of any kind, and more about the fact that Jack Jones has been able to get someone to invest in his business. The value of the Series A Investment is $175.

Jones continued, “As America’s Social Media Consultant, I plan on using the Series A Investment to trademark the phrase ‘America’s Social Media Consultant.’”

It is unprecedented to put out a press release for a Series A Investment of this size.

“It is also unprecedented to get Series A Investment when all you have is a website about an idea to write a book about Social Media,” added Jones. That website,, will serve as the hub for information about one of Jones’ books, “The 3-Hour D*Bag,” which is currently being shopped to publishing companies.

Other books in the works include “Get Social, America!” and “The Jack Jones Story: Not the Guy Who Sang the ‘Love Boat’ Theme, But the Other One.”

Jones concluded: “Both of these are great achievements and I could not have done it without the support of the Jack Jones Community on Twitter, Facebook and Myspace.”
